Intro
I am an Assistant Professor at the
AU School of Computing and Information Systems. I am also a Visiting Professor at the
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UBC and Honorary Research Associate at the
Faculty of Computer Science, University of New Brunswick.
Prior to this, I was a research staff member at the
Internet Logic group at the National Research Council of Canada -
Institute for Information Technology.
My genreal areas of research interest are Semantics-enabled Software and Requirements Engineering Technologies, Software Quality Engineering, Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Representation Techniques to Healthcare and Learning Domains.
Before, my Ph.D. research concentrated on merging software conceptual models using belief theory techniques. My thesis title was: The Integration of Para-consistent
Conceptual Models Influenced by Uncertainty: A Belief-theoretic Approach.
